The Summer Olympics Opening Ceremonies are tonight, kids. Just in case you forgot. As it's in China this time around, I'm expecting a very lush, colorful and intricate presentation. At least, that's what I get out of their art and architecture, so I imagine that carrying over into their "hello to the world."

I'm a bit of an Olympics junkie. For the next two weeks, I'll probably have a TV on one of NBC's channels no matter the event. I haven't found a favorite event, as I have for the Winter Games. There, I just leave it on whatever channel shows the hockey games and the curling matches. Heaven.
