My guess would be "nails screeching on a chalkboard," but that's not very original...

Actually I imagine it as an EEEEEEEEEE sound. My older brother and I as kids could do it in a kind of harmony, that would travel up the spinal cord of the nearest adult causing them to crush whatever they were holding out of reflex. (which if we'd held still long enough probably would have been our necks I imagine. ;p)

Tate's contorted face in panel three made my day. I feel like that sometimes! =wd=
