While running errands today, I was lured into my local Borders bookshop by the scent of manga (I know, I should be supporting my local comic shop and I would if they sold more than superheroes, Inuyasha and Yu-Gi-Oh), and discovered while sifting through the racks of graphic novels a sign mentioning the addition of a graphic novel section in the kids' part of the store.

Well, hey! That's a cool thing, since there's a lot of really good all-ages graphic novels out there, which were all displayed prominently in said section, including Jeff Smith's awe-inspiring Bone, Jimmy Gownley's ever-delightful Amelia Rules and the first volume of what should be an epic tale, Kazu Kibuishi's Amulet. The section itself wasn't marked at all, but it at least is a step up from before - the comics were scattered about amongst various sections in the kids' area. Now if only half of it weren't dominated by Pokemon books.

Speaking of good stuff for all ages, Eric, Cathy and I review Disney's new animated feature Bolt on this week's Mouse Guest Weekly, and (spoiler alert) we highly recommend you go see it.

Expand a bit on what these comics are about please? Are they strictly for the young (meaning you) or can older folk enjoy and follow?
