There was a RPG expansion for a system called Big Eyes, Small Mouth called Cute & Fuzzy Seizure Monsters that goes into some of the absurdities of the game and the modern world. Like sponsorships, and moneyball-style sports with people taking advantage of this idealistic kids... kinda interesting.
