Mr. Merle, I have a system: if Weesh has updated, it is either Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. If Weesh has not updated, it is either Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, or Thursday.
If Weesh has updated: Was yesterday the weekend? Will tomorrow be the weekend? Answering those questions should tell you what day it is.
If Weesh has not updated: Is it the weekend? If yes, then it is either Saturday or Sunday. If no, then it is either Tuesday or Thursday. Since both Saturday and Sunday start with S, they are really the same day, so the it doesn't matter which of those two days it is. Same deal with Tuesday and Thursday for T.

Or he could just count the number of days since the last time Zoey visited him at the old folks' home.
