This is a thing I don't get. I've never been scared of tests, even ones where I knew I was underprepared. You do your best, and then it's over. What's to worry about?

Well, I am terrified of the Professional Engineering Test tomorrow. If I fail it, 100 hours of studying and hundreds of dollars in review materials are for naught. Additionally, I won't be able to take it again for 6 months, and then I'll have to start studying all over again. It is Pass/Fail, so one or two questions could be the difference.
But yeah, most tests are not so high stakes.
